2030 Agenda in Ecuador and the implementation of the INFF

The 2030 Agenda is an ambitious and transformative proposal that, in its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), sets out the vision of where countries' efforts should be directed to achieve well-being under the premise of "leaving no one behind".

Financing for development is understood as the firm commitment made by countries to find the resources required to implement the 2030 Agenda. It refers to fostering the right environment at all levels for sustainable development.

The path to financing for development contemplates the design of a National Integrated Financing Framework (INFF). An INFF makes it possible to strengthen the link between countries' budgets and development results, optimize resources and take advantage of opportunities to access new sources of financing.
