The joint programme titled 'Accelerating Decent Jobs and Social Protection in Nepal' aims to support Nepal in developing a catalytic approach for structural transformation towards a productive, inclusive, and green economy, enhancing access to decent employment and social protection, particularly for women, youth, and marginalized groups.
The programme supports Nepal in transforming its economy to provide equitable access to decent jobs and social protection, particularly for women, youth, and marginalized groups. It engages 500 stakeholders and 50 institutions in developing a nationally owned roadmap for the Global Accelerator on Jobs and Social Protection, enhancing policy coherence and investment strategies. The initiative contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, 5, 8, and 10, ultimately fostering inclusive economic growth and improving social protection systems for all.

Nepal has better integrated, well-coordinated, inclusive, and sustainable policies, strategies and investments on decent job creation and social protection extension for just transitions.
