The joint programme titled 'Accelerating Deployment and Adoption of Renewable Energy Technologies in Zambia' aims to enhance energy access and support the energy transition in Zambia's Eastern Province by fostering the growth of inclusive clean energy enterprises and addressing capacity gaps among energy Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The program enhances energy access and supports the energy transition in Zambia's Eastern Province by fostering inclusive clean energy enterprises. It addresses capacity gaps among energy MSMEs, facilitating access to blended financing and providing business development support. The initiative aims to improve the accessibility and quality of energy products, reaching 150,000 people while contributing to Zambia's goal of universal clean energy access by 2030 and reducing carbon emissions. Overall, it significantly advances sustainable economic development and climate resilience.
