Brief Description
The joint programme titled 'Acceleration of Just Energy Transition in Mongolia' aims to accelerate a just, green, and equitable energy transition in Mongolia by utilizing seed funding from the Joint SDG Fund, supporting the development of a National Just Energy Transition framework, mobilizing resources, and promoting gender equality while addressing climate change and energy equity.

- Development of a Just Energy Transition Framework aligned with new NDC 3.0, LT-LEDS and SDG7, 13, 5, and 12 for creating enabling environment (Ambition and inclusivity)
- Climate financing framework developed for Just Energy Transition (Acceleration)
- Just and inclusive energy transition (carbon neutrality, resilience, and circularity) roadmap in health and education sectors developed contributing to creation of a safe and healthy environment and improved essential services for all the children (1,360,055, nationwide) and the most vulnerable. (Ambition and Inclusivity).
