Brief Description

The joint programme titled 'AGRODIGI- DIGITIZATION AND STRUCTURING OF THE AGRICULTURAL VALUE CHAIN' aims to digitize the agricultural value chain in Niger by creating a digital platform that connects stakeholders, enhances community sustainability, and improves access to financial services, thereby fostering economic resilience, particularly for youth and women.

The program focuses on digitizing the agricultural value chain in Niger, enhancing community sustainability through local engagement and tailored digital solutions. It organizes training sessions for 600 stakeholders, including farmers and traders, to ensure effective platform adoption, improving market access and financial service connectivity. The initiative empowers 70 key actors, particularly women and youth, fostering economic resilience and digital literacy among 500 beneficiaries. Overall, the program significantly enhances climate resilience and contributes to advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting inclusive economic growth and sustainable agricultural practices.

Expected key results

A specialized digital platform will be introduced to optimize agricultural coordination, integrating farmers, processes, traders, and financial services.
