Brief Description

The joint programme titled 'Better livelihoods and human capital through improved service delivery in social protection and skills' aims to enhance human capital and workforce skills in Cambodia by evaluating the Family Package's impact and improving Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) services to better meet employer needs and support vulnerable youth.

The joint programme focuses on enhancing human capital and social protection in Cambodia by improving service delivery through the Family Package and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). It evaluates the Family Package's impact on human capital while enhancing youth skills to meet labor market demands. The programme collaborates with various stakeholders, including government entities and international organizations, to reach approximately 2.8 million individuals, including vulnerable groups. Key achievements include increased responsiveness of TVET to industry needs and improved social assistance delivery. Overall, the initiative significantly contributes to advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting inclusive economic growth and resilience.

1) Improved evidence and knowledge-generation on social assistance (SA) delivery with the revision of the FP based on evaluation findings; 2) Improved employability outcomes through TVET through increased responsiveness to labour demand improved cross-cutting skills.
