Brief Description

The joint programme titled 'Catalyzing the Samoa National Food Systems Transformation Agenda Through Collective Action' aims to enhance Samoa's food systems through gender-responsive actions, comprehensive analyses, and the development of sustainable consumption patterns to ensure food security and nutrition for all.

The program focuses on transforming Samoa's food systems through gender-responsive actions, enhancing local food trade, agribusiness, and nutrition education. It conducts comprehensive analyses to inform policy reforms, develops a costing framework for the National Pathway, and mobilizes resources for at least three funding proposals. The initiative reaches Samoa's entire population of approximately 200,000, particularly benefiting vulnerable groups, and contributes to advancing Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in food security and climate resilience.
