Brief Description

The joint programme titled 'Enabling digital transformation and improving public service delivery at scale in Guatemala' aims to accelerate the digital transformation of public services in Guatemala by addressing existing gaps and enhancing governance frameworks, digital strategies, and inclusion for vulnerable populations.

This Joint Programme enhances digital transformation and public service delivery in Guatemala by addressing gaps in digital initiatives. It strengthens governance frameworks, accelerates the digitalization of services, and promotes digital inclusion for vulnerable populations, including women and indigenous peoples. The programme reaches over 875,000 citizens with improved access to digital services, supports 660,000 individuals with social security, registers 96,000 for social protection, and benefits 130,000 in climate-vulnerable areas. It significantly impacts education and safety for 17,800 children and 90,000 girls, ultimately advancing climate resilience and contributing to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
