The joint programme titled 'Inclusive Digital Transformation Facility' aims to drive inclusive digital transformation in Colombia by connecting key actors from various sectors to promote social and economic inclusion, particularly for marginalized populations, while aligning with the objectives of the Global Digital Compact.

The Inclusive Digital Transformation Facility (IDTF) drives inclusive digital transformation in Colombia, focusing on marginalized populations. It connects public and private sectors to enhance social and economic inclusion, addressing digital divides and promoting equitable access to technology and financial services. The IDTF's initiatives aim to empower 2,000 youth and reach 100,000 individuals through innovative financial solutions, fostering a secure digital environment that respects human rights. Overall, the IDTF significantly contributes to advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by enhancing digital resilience and inclusion.

Expected key results

A strengthened digitalization ecosystem that convenes stakeholders to share knowledge, mobilize resources, and advocates for enabling policies and regulatory frameworks to promote digital development.

An enabling regulatory framework for open finance and open data is established, along with sandbox environments for safe experimentation in the financial sector.

Policies to support meaningful connectivity and responsible digital citizenship for youth are implemented.

More digitally skilled youth who can thrive in the digital economy, with greater local capacity for digital inclusion that is strengthened through improved coordination, tailored initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
