Brief Description

The joint programme titled 'Incubation of innovations in partnerships and financing for agrifood systems transformation in Viet Nam' aims to support the coordination and mobilization of finance and innovations to transform food systems in Viet Nam over a 12-month period.

The program focuses on transforming agrifood systems in Vietnam through innovative partnerships and financing, enhancing governance, and improving access to finance. It engages 1,300 beneficiaries, including farmers and local officials, with a commitment to gender equality. Key actions include establishing the Food Systems Transformation Partnership and facilitating a new financial architecture. The initiative significantly contributes to sustainable development by promoting inclusivity, accountability, and resilience in food systems, ultimately advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Expected key results

The JP seeks to improve multi-sectoral policy coordination and establishing the Food Systems Transformation Partnership (FSTP) to foster inclusive partnerships across the food value chain and facilitate an inclusive implementation of the National Action Plan for food systems.
