Brief Description

The joint programme titled 'National readiness for E-justice transformation' aims to enhance the digitalization and modernization of the justice sector in Côte d'Ivoire, addressing institutional and operational challenges to improve service delivery and access to justice for all.

The joint programme focuses on enhancing Côte d'Ivoire's justice sector through digital transformation, addressing operational and technical challenges. It conducts a gap analysis and digital readiness assessment, develops a national e-Justice roadmap, and empowers middle management for effective change management. With a budget of $280,000, the initiative aims to reach 5,200 beneficiaries, fostering equitable access to justice and contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting the rule of law and improving governance systems. Overall, it significantly enhances climate resilience and supports sustainable development.

Expected key results

Gap analysis and Digital Readiness Assessment of the legal, policy and administrative framework on e-Justice in Cote d'Ivoire is available through a participatory approach.
