Brief Description

The "Powering Angola’s Sustainable and Inclusive Rural Transformation" programme aims to promote renewable energy access in Angola by developing innovative financing models for rural transformation centers, empowering women-led MSMEs, and fostering economic inclusivity.

The Just Energy Transition Seed Funding track in Angola focuses on accelerating rural transformation by enhancing capacity in public and private sectors to develop innovative financing solutions for Rural Transformation Centers (RTCs) powered by clean energy. This initiative provides renewable energy access to rural cooperatives and MSMEs, particularly women-led groups, improving productivity and income while reducing inequalities. The program engages key ministries and leverages partnerships to implement scalable solutions, directly benefiting 500 individuals and contributing to climate resilience and the advancement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
