The joint programme focuses on creating a sustainable clean energy model within an indigenous community in La Guajira, enhancing access to water and diversifying local agricultural systems to achieve food security. It builds local capacities and co-creates governance and financing frameworks with stakeholders, ensuring community ownership of energy and food systems. The programme directly benefits 1,600 people, fostering resilience against climate change and contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by integrating energy, water, and food transitions for long-term community autonomy.
