Brief Description

The joint programme titled 'Strengthening SDG Localization in Uganda' aims to enhance the capacity of local governments and empower marginalized groups for effective implementation of the Parish Development Model, thereby accelerating progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals in Uganda.

The program focuses on strengthening SDG localization in Uganda through the effective implementation of the Parish Development Model (PDM), enhancing local governance and community engagement. It collaborates with local governments, civil society, and marginalized groups, particularly women and youth, to improve participation in decision-making and service delivery. The initiative aims to empower at least 10,000 beneficiaries over its duration, addressing key areas such as food systems, financial inclusion, and social services. Overall, it significantly contributes to enhancing climate resilience and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Uganda.
