Brief Description

The joint programme titled 'Support the Government of Liberia to Develop National and County Development Agendas' aims to assist the Liberian government in conducting an integrated development planning process that aligns national, global, and continental development frameworks to create national and subnational plans for the next five to six years.

The program supports the Government of Liberia in developing integrated National and County Development Plans that align with global and national frameworks, enhancing governance and social services. It strengthens institutions to promote human rights and equitable access to essential services, while fostering sustainable economic development and resilience to climate change. The initiative reaches approximately 5.4 million people, focusing on education and food systems as key areas for transformation. Overall, it significantly advances Liberia's progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and enhances climate resilience.
