Advancing the SDGs in the Kyrgyz Republic: Financing, Local Action, and Digital Solutions

j

This publication showcases Joint SDG Fund–supported programmes in the Kyrgyz Republic that are advancing the Sustainable Development Goals through integrated financing, strengthened local governance, and digital transformation.

  1. Integrated National Financing Framework (INFF)
Strengthening SDG-aligned planning, budgeting, and investment to support delivery of the National Development Programme 2030.
  2. SDG localization and urban governance
Embedding the SDGs into municipal planning and decision-making through Bishkek’s first Voluntary Local Review, strengthening local delivery and national-local coordination.
  3. Digital health transformation and inclusive service delivery
Advancing system-wide digital integration across health and social protection, including digital disability certification and improved interoperability between ministries.

Together, these interventions demonstrate how integrated financing, localized action, and digital transformation can translate national priorities into tangible SDG results on the ground.
