Finance with Purpose: Five Years of ASSIST in Indonesia

f

From 2021 to 2025, the Accelerating SDGs Investments in Indonesia (ASSIST) Joint Programme helped turn sustainable finance ambition into real-world results. Working closely with the Government of Indonesia, the programme supported the development of thematic bonds, sustainable finance frameworks, impact investing, and de-risking mechanisms that aligned public and private capital with national priorities.

The Final Edition of the ASSIST Joint Programme Newsletter reflects on this five-year journey, bringing together key milestones, partnerships, and stories from across Indonesia. It shows how finance, when designed with purpose, can strengthen institutions, unlock innovation, and deliver tangible benefits for people and communities across the country.
