Transforming Lives Through Joint SDG Fund Support in Uzbekistan

f

Uzbekistan is advancing one of the most ambitious social and economic reform agendas in the region, with a commitment to ensure that progress is inclusive, equitable and rooted in long term resilience.

The brochure brings together the full portfolio of Joint SDG Fund-supported initiatives in Uzbekistan, including programmes on decent work and formalization, social protection expansion, pension and social insurance reform, just energy transition, national financing frameworks and responses to food and energy shocks. These efforts are implemented by UN agencies in close collaboration with national institutions and align with the priorities of the Uzbekistan 2030 strategy.

Each section shows how evidence based policymaking, innovative financing and coordinated support are helping Uzbekistan build stronger systems that deliver for people throughout their lives. The programmes highlighted here demonstrate how transformative change is already underway, ensuring that no one is left behind on the path to 2030.
