Turning Local Priorities into Investment at Scale
Across 20 countries, governments, local authorities, UN teams and partners are developing solutions that connect territorial priorities with public and private investment.
This publication brings together two cohorts supported through the Bilbao Bootcamp. The first cohort included Cabo Verde, Colombia, Ethiopia, Honduras, Jordan, Nepal, the Philippines and Tanzania. These countries tested initial approaches and generated lessons for implementation.
The second cohort brought together Cambodia, Costa Rica, Côte d’Ivoire, Guatemala, Kenya, Mauritania, Mexico, Mozambique, Senegal, Serbia, South Africa and Thailand. Building on the first edition, the focus shifted from piloting individual solutions to strengthening investment readiness, developing larger pipelines and embedding these approaches within national systems.
The country profiles present each programme’s ambitions, financing model and pathway for bringing locally driven solutions to scale.
