Nodira and Murod live in a village, some 150 km northwest of Tashkent with their two children, aged 3 and 4, and are also expecting a third child. When they were married 5 years ago, they worked on a small plot of land growing strawberries, barely making ends meet. Murod is a skilled car mechanic, but he could not find a job in his trade, so he put his skills to work repairing vehicles for the villagers.
