Digital Transformation: Mozambique and Niger

Mozambique

In Mozambique, efforts are underway to develop a comprehensive understanding of the strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities within the country's digital ecosystem, particularly in the public sector. This joint programme aims to improve access to and utilization of digital public services by communities, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.

By focusing on strengthening the digital infrastructure and services available to the public, this programme seeks to empower citizens and promote greater engagement with government services.

A specialized digital platform is set to revolutionize agricultural coordination, bringing together farmers, traders, and financial services to enhance efficiency and collaboration. This joint programme aims to empower 70 key actors and 600 beneficiaries, with a focus on youth and women, through targeted training in digital literacy and financial services.

By introducing this digital platform and providing training, Niger is facilitating greater access to information and services for its agricultural community. This will not only improve coordination but also empower individuals, particularly youth and women, to actively participate in and benefit from the agricultural sector's growth.
